About us
Dead Duck Film Club is Nottingham's home for cult cinema. We screen the weird, the rare, and the unforgettable. We pick global cult films, from Korean thrillers to French horror, and show them with a DIY spirit and a soft spot for the offbeat.
We work with local cinemas like The Savoy to get these films on the big screen. Every screening comes with fan-made posters and a crowd that loves to pull the film apart afterwards.

Two kids from the same Rio favela. One picks up a camera, the other picks up a gun. Fernando Meirelles' Cidade de Deus rips through three decades of life in the slums, told by the boy holding the camera. Dead Duck teams up with the Brazilian Cultural Center to put it on the big screen.
